Based on a true story, "¡Baca the Kid!" tells the story of Elfego Baca, a young New Mexican deputy sheriff who is trapped in a flimsy mud hut by an angry white mob. The mob, a group of Anglo cowboys, enter a shootout with Elfego Baca as Baca survives the longest gunfight in U.S. history.
